FAMOUS POLLENSA HOTEL CELEBRATE 75 YEARS

Hotel Illa d'Or Celebrates its 75th Anniversary. This four star hotel is
located on the Pine Walk along the seaside resort of Puerto Pollensa, and

The five star Hotel Maricel at Cas Catala, close to Palma, has been awarded with the title of "The Best Breakfast in the World" by the International Gastronomic Conference in Madrid "Madrid Fusion" which brings together top chefs from all over the world.

The judges awarded the Hotel Maricel, not only because of the breakfast, which includes 8 different sets of dishes from kiwi and cheese ice-cream and melon and ginger juice, to a wide selection of breads & cakes such as sobrasada (local sausage) plumcake, cereals and dairy products such as mini yoghurts with carob & vanilla mousse, and various drinks including mandarin and a peppermint herb (hierba luisa)

The way in which this breakfast is served also impressed the judges.
