MALLORCA SURF ACTION 2006

WATERSPORT & EXHIBITION BOARD SPECTACULAR TO BE STAGED ON MALLORCA, AUGUST 19TH – 20TH.

Mallorca Surf Action 2006 will be the second event of its kind on the island, which is being organised in conjunction with Palma Town Hall, on the 19 th and 20th August on the Playa de Palma, approximately 10 minutes drive from the island’s international airport, where approximately 40 top international names are expected to participate from all over the world demonstrating their amazing skills and tricks.

The two days will focus on Exhibition Board Sports (windsurf, kitesurf, wakeboard, wakeskate, skateboard, BMX, snakeboard and vert - rollerblading) and will feature some of the top international record holding contestants including:

Alex Mussolini, Diony Guadagnino and Alexis Zabala considered to be among the top ten windsurfers worldwide with Bryan Talma (freestyle expert) and Stephane Etienne (Spanish champion in the World Cup). Inaki Anitua (wakeboard); Enric Costa (wakeskate); Alex Pages (Kitesurf); Sergi Nicolas, came second in the world skateboarding championships and Jose Manuel Roura considered one of the top skateboarders in Europe.

Nel Martin, who has won the world title for vert riding (rollerblade) for the past few years; Eduardo Terrenos Santos, considered to be one of the great showmen of BMX and runner up in the world championships.

In addition, the event will also feature a pop concert, a photographic exhibition, grafiti artists, Capoeira and Breakdance performances, windsurfing, skate and roller blading beginners lessons.
