PALMA DE MALLORCA AWARDED SAFEST AIRPORT IN SPAIN

Palma de Mallorca Airport, one of the busiest in Europe handling an Average 17.5 million passenger movements per year, has been voted the safest airport in Spain for its' security system by the independent trade magazine "Seguritecnia".

In the magazine's awards for 2002 Palma's security system, which comprises of 170 scanners and 150 security cameras. The entire systemhas been designed by Ikusi with state of the art technology and is completely integrated with the airport's central control system, which monitors all access areas of the airport.
