PALMA TAKES FASHION TO THE STREET

A new fashion/beauty/hair event will take place in Palma for the first time from 19-21st April.

For the first time ever, Mallorca’s capital of Palma will be bringing local fashion, make up and hairdressing on to the street during a three day event called “MUST – Moda Urbana i Estilisme 2007” (Urban Fashion & Style 2007), from Thursday, April 19 to Saturday, April 21.

This event, which will include fashion shows (featuring the work of local young designers), fashion designers at work, jewellery design, various practical workshops, makeovers and hairdressing displays. The event is free to the public and will take place around the centre of Palma in Calle Saint Miguel, Calle Saint Nicholas, El Born and Plaza Major from 10.00 – 20.00 on all three days.

The initiative, which is intended to be an annual event, is being sponsored by Palma Town Hall and local commerce, is to promote the city as a top shopping destination in the Mediterranean.
