TWO NEW WEBSITES PROMOTE MALLORCA'S CULTURE & ARTS

Mallorca's exhibitions, art galleries and museums are a year round attraction for visitors.

New arts & culture website

A new website has been launched to promote Palma as a city break destination and to focus on the year round cultural programme, art galleries, exhibitions and museums, mainly in Palma but also throughout the island. www.turart.net includes maps, itineraries, programmes and latest news on the island’s art scene.

The creation of this multi-lingual website is in response to visitors’ demand for indepth information online when planning their visit. In recent years, Palma has become a popular city break destination and the majority of visitors now tend to book independently using the internet. This website is intended as a complimentary aid to get the most out of the city and indeed the rest of the island for any visitor.

Arte Vision showcases Mallorca’s artists

A new art website with a difference has been launched enabling visitors an opportunity to directly contact some of the island’s key artists in their studios. www.artevision.es is a multi-lingual site with details of a growing list (currently around 45) of artists on the island, showcasing their work and providing details and images. The website also provides detailed information on art exhibitions, featuring many of the collaborating artists, in venues around the island. Furthermore, the website will even put you in direct contact with listed artists for specific commissions.
