MALLORCA HOSTS THE 13TH WORLD FOLKDANCE FESTIVAL

Palma is the location for this exciting bi annual event which will appeal to all visitors and is absolutely free.

Over five days from April 14th through to the 18th, Mallorca will host one of the most spectacular cultural events bringing together dance groups representing 34 countries from all over the world. Each group will perform vibrant dances in colourful national costume in The Born and Plaza España in Palma. Special gala performances will be held in the city’s recently restored Teatro Principal. The five day event will culminate in the presentation of prizes and trophies. A multi-lingual brochure on the event is available from tourist offices and Palma Town Hall.
