MALLORCA STILL TOPS FOR THE BRITS
Latest passenger figures
Inspite of a soaring temperatures at home, latest British passenger figures to Mallorca show an increase of 8.6% in the peak months of July and August. This increase represents a total of over 60,000 more British visitors to the island.
The figures, issued by Palma Airport, further demonstrate the enduring appeal of the island to the British holidaymaker.
Further promotion of the destination during the winter season is expected when Mallorca will host over 2000 travel agents in October (30th – November 2nd) for the annual Association of British Travel Agents Convention (ABTA). This will be the fourth time the island has hosted the event.
